I have problems with noise, clicks and pops with an optical digitial connection

I have a Auzentech X-Plosion sound card. I installed it a while ago and it was working fine with minimal pops and clicks when changing channels, watching movies or playing games. But all of a sudden now it constantly clicks and pops its making my user experience unbearable. I have installed the latest drivers to no avail. I removed the cabled and plugged them back in again and still the same problem. I don't want to try other types of cables I want to use the digital connection.

Anyone else

have this issue?

Missing WAV Sound Control bar

I dual boot between Windows XP and 7, while it works perfectly under XP, I notice that the WAV control bar is missing under Windows 7(currently using the RC drivers). I use this WAV control bar along with the Master volume control to boost the volume of my headphones under XP. Unfortunately, my headphones do not have volume control built in and my sound output is severely reduced on my headphones. Using speakers is out of the question as I am living in a University dorm that has strict rules on noise level. Is there any chance this control bar could be added to next set of X-plosion drivers?

New drivers for X-Plosion

Any word when new drivers are coming for the X-Plosion 7.1 Cinema?

The last drivers released for this card were on 09/24/2009, and they are RC2 drivers.

I hope driver releases have not stopped for this card, I still see it being sold on quite a few online shops.

Windows 7 Equalisation

I have just had a PC built with Win 7 and an X-Plosion card. I cannot see any software to run the card, and ther CD just has drivers. I have used Win Media Centre to play TV and DVD and was told that Win Media player will do the equalisation. However when I adjusted the WMPlayer EQ, nothing happened.

So is there a way to adjust the card's EQ? Will i-Tunes be able to set eq on this card? I ask that because (unless they have dumbed down their latest version like everyone else) I want to set an EQ for each song or album.

Thanks for any help

Nick

Sound problems

Okay I finally have sound after 3 months. Problem is where I used to have my Yamaha at -30 there about now it's at maximum and the sound is just right +6.Should there be something plugged in to the card. I'm a newbie Grandma as you can probably guess and not hard of hearing, yet anyway. Any suggestions?

No volume control on HD playback

HTPC using Win 7/64 - everything works fine, can control volume to amplifier from remote control until I use my internal LG blue ray player for viewing DVD or select a HD tv program for viewing, I get sound but am unable to control the volume even though my TV screen shows the remote is changing the volume.

Windows 7 Home Premium 64bit

Ok I am pulling my hair out. I have installed the latest drivers from the Azuen web site. I can get sound out when I plug in speakers to the speaker jack. When I plug my optical connection into my receiver nada. I can see the volume levels changing when looking in volume controls, but no sound comes out of my receiver. I have tried setting the optical out as default, hd output as default. I am using Windows Media Center. Nothing I do sends sound out the optical. What do I need to do????

The Devil makes work for idle thumbs!!! Win764Bit Driver Nightmare

Hi

Was playing around with fine and working setup when i decided to update all my drivers, until it came to this and downloaded the latest ones off the site.

Now i get this and cannot start them:-

Windows cannot verify the digital signature for the drivers required for this device. A recent hardware or software change might have installed a file that is signed incorrectly or damaged, or that might be malicious software from an unknown source. (Code 52)
