Windows 7 issues
I'm having issues with Windows 7 and my Auzentech X-Mystique soundcard. I downloaded and installed the drivers from the support page, and everything appears to have installed properly... but I have no output on analog or digital.
Everywhere I can think to look claims that everything should be working.
Any suggestions on what I can do to solve this problem? This is driving me nuts.

Re: Windows 7 issues
Have you tried the card in a different PC to rule it out as the culprit?
Re: Windows 7 issues--Mystique only playing 2.0 sound
Yes I have tried switching the card out and the on the computer running Windows XP I get great results.
The card reads and tests 5.1 but the software will only play 2.0. I think this is a driver issue because XP delivers well.
Re: Windows 7 issues
I am having the same issue. I have my X-Mystique card connected to a 5.1 receiver using the SPDIF output. When I had Windows XP, everything worked fine. Then I upgraded to Windows 7 and downloaded the appropriate drivers from the support page. Everything appears to install fine but I get no sound.
When my receiver is getting a signal from the computer there are lights that illuminate, showing that I am getting signal for right front channel, left front channel, etc. But with Windows 7 and the Windows 7 drivers, none of these lights illuminate. So I am assuming that there is no signal at all outputting from the card.
Really frustrating. I've tried everything I can think of and I just don't know what to do anymore.
I think that it has to be a problem with the Windows 7 drivers.
Re: Windows 7 issues
I just upgraded from XP to 7 and am having the exact same problem using the coax output. This is really bizarre as it always has worked under XP. I just tried using the analogue outputs and now get sound in Windows 7, so it seems to be linked to the digital output.
Re: Windows 7 issues
I am glad that I am not the only one that is experiencing these issues. I did a clean install of Windows 7 with a PC that previously was running Windows XP Media Center. My card worked flawlessly before installing Windows 7.
I too downloaded the latest drivers from the the auzentech website and Windows 7 seems to be playing nice and reporting no errors with the driver install. However, the optical connection nor the digital RCA coax connection is sending a signal to my receiver.
I will test the analog ports and see if they work for me as well as another optical cable.
Any suggestions would be great.
I have been very happy with this card and would purchase an updated model on the next media PC that I build. I hope I can get this one working though with this Windows 7 PC.
