Community Guidelines

The Auzen Community Guidelines are intended to maintain a respectful, helpful community of Auzentech customers. By participating in the Forum and other current or future areas of the Auzen Community you agree to these rules and guidelines, and acknowledge that failure to abide by them should, and will, result in appropriate action.

Overview

This Auzentech Community is a place for Auzentech customers to communicate with each other. It is not a place to communicate directly with Auzentech. (See Community vs Support, below).

This is a community. It is polite, constructive, on-topic, and positive. By participating in the Auzen Community, you agree to always play nice.

Not allowed are personal attacks against others in the community or our staff, the use of profanity, and posts or topics that are designed to create unrest in the community beyond polite disagreement.

Normal discussion of competitive products is allowed and encouraged. However, since this is a community of Auzentech users, advertising or promotion of other companies or their products is not allowed.

Always Play Nice

If it is "not nice," it is not allowed.

  • Swearing or using profanity: not nice.
  • Racial, ethnic, or gender insults or discrimination: not nice.
  • Posts meant to offend or hurt another member: not nice.
  • Posts that are offensive or inflammatory: not nice.
  • Spam or encouraging spam on the forum or in email: not nice.
  • Arguing a moderator's decision on the forum: not nice.
  • Explicit or offensive pictures: not nice.
  • Advertising or promoting competing products: not nice.
  • Posting in the incorrect forum: not nice. Take your time to see where the topic should go.
  • Impersonation of another member: not nice. You may only use a single user ID.
  • Linking to external sites or content with link-through systems that mask the originating URL: not nice. Only link directly.
  • Behaving as a Forum Troll: not nice.
  • Registering with a disposable email address: not nice.

Community Protection

Failure to abide by these Community Guidelines may result in removal of posts and/or blocking from Auzen Community participation. Violation of any of these rules will result in real consequences, with each case considered individually. Posts in the wrong section will be moved by a moderator.

Community vs Support

  • Community: The Auzen Community is a place for community support and interaction. It's a place to Help and Be Helped by other Auzentech users. It is a place for Auzentech customers to communicate with each other.
  • Customer Support: In certain cases, customers may have an issue with Auzentech services, products, or staff. In these cases, you need to communicate with Auzentech directly. Send your question directly to our staff via the Support Desk or an email from the Contact Us page. If we are not doing as well as we could, we want to know about it and will do our best to address the concern.

Moderator Guidelines

The primary purpose of the Auzentech Community is to enable Auzentech customers to help one another. The Community Moderator can assist in the following ways:

  • Normal, respectful, community involvement as an ordinary Community Member.
  • Block Spam
  • Block harassment of Members.
  • Block attempts to spread discontent or untruths.
  • Recommend the blocking of accounts as needed.
  • Move posts to the correct section.
  • Identify threads which should be "sticky" above other threads.

These Community Guidelines are subject to change without notice, although Auzentech will attempt to notify members of the community should substantial changes occur.
