Trying to install this card
Just received this card.
I plan on using it to drive JBL active speakers (studio monitors).
Problems so far:
1) Cannot get my windows 7 install to detect the card. MB is Asrock P45R2000. Have tried both disabling the on board audio in device manager and in the bios. Still will not detect this card.
The LED behind the "X" on the card is flashing on and off, not sure if this is normal or an error condition.
Will let you know how it sounds as soon as I can get it installed.

It should flash. Its ok.
Have you tried drivers from site (not CD).
Have you latest drivers for ASRock and P45? (P45 has them from Intel directly)
Disabling onboard audio was good idea.
Try pluging card into PCIe x16 or x8. That PCIe x1 might not work.. (maybe due power output). Just idea.
