Auzentech does listen

This was over a year ago now, but I'm sure some of you will remember. Many users of Creative products realized that, at that time, they could download and manipulate Auzen drivers to jury rig unintended features for their sound cards. This required Auzentech to rethink how their users could download drivers. A lockdown was put into effect that literally required you to pull your card out (and if you owned like a Meridian and a Prelude, both of them!) and get some number off of it. You can't blame them, they were trying to fight off increased traffic and stay on Creative's good side.

I wrote back and forth with Auzentech and they openly discussed the matter. They read what I had to say and gave full responses. Before long and after many others had written in, Auzen pulled through and decided that at whatever cost they were willing to overthrow their fancy new system!

I personally haven't seen another sound card company as personalized and open to what end users want as Auzentech. Kudos!
