Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
I have been running Win 7 for around 6 months in various versions, and prior to this was running Vista - both 64 bit versions. Since the release of the full drivers and now also with the new beta ones, I experience a popping and sound loss every now and then. It also appears that this issue is more frequent when I have Ventrilo running and connected to a server (and typically idle).
The sound will basically drop, and sometimes I will get a popping sort of noise like when you unplug a speaker that is connected to a power amp. Fortunately the fix is simple in that I just have to go in to my "Playback Devices" window (right click on volume icon in systray) and then disable and re-enable the speaker output that is affected.
Has anyone else experienced this, or anything similar, and have you found a solution that is permanent?!

Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
I experienced the same thing in Vista. It dates back to whatever driver was the newest just before the full Windows 7 beta was released by Microsoft, and prior to that it never happened.
Certain things do seem to upset it, like the harsh dings from Google Talk, but maybe that's coincidental. It definitely needs addressing.
Edit: To clarify, the problem requires a full reboot and includes the complete loss of normal sound replaced by the occasional seriously abrasive pop or scratch.
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
I have the same problem. When I sent a message for tech support, the reply I got back was that they were not able to duplicate the issue ;p.
After about a day of computer uptime (sound is perfect at first), I get constant crackling/hissing/popping noises and the only way to correct the issue for me is to reboot the system. This happens in Windows 7 RTM, I didn't have this issue in Vista, though. I wonder if this is a motherboard (Gigabyte EP35-DS3R)/Prelude conflict since not everyone gets this problem?
Also, for the actual popping/crackling noise, the noise gets alot worse when there is hard drive access/internet access such as loading a webpage. For instance, if I am playing a song, I will get intermittent crackling/popping but if there is hard drive access/web page loading it is near constant.
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
Yes !! I am having this issue as well under Windows 7. Not very often, but it does happen..
Tottaly random tho...
Also, whilst playing Assassins Creed, the game would always within 10 minutes of playing crash and the whole machine would reboot. Solution found by moving prelude card to another spare PCI slot.
Again, all this happens only in Windows 7.

Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
Thanks for mentioning switching PCI slots. I am not sure if my problem is eliminated yet (too soon to tell), but the crackling/static hasn't come back yet after switching PCI slots (been over 1 day). At the very least, the time between necessary reboots has been increased by a day ;p.
However, the original PCI slot worked fine in Vista with the older drivers so I still think it is a driver issue.
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
I get the same issue, I regularly update my drivers and these latest drivers that are compatible with Windows 7 seem to drop out and make a static/popping noise for a few seconds then sound is lost.
This happened for me on Vista and does the same on 7. The sound comes back after about 30 seconds without me needing to do anything.
This only happens with the latest drivers as when I experienced this with Vista I downgraded and had no issues.
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
I too am having the same problems with my Prelude soundcard making crackling and popping noises occasionally, usually very loud.
This used to happen in Vista64, but I've just built a new computer system on a Gigabyte EX58-Extreme & Intel I7 920 cpu with Windows 7 RC and it still does it (with or without overclocking)!! It looks to me as though there may be a problem with the current drivers, if not then maybe someone here from Auzentech can suggest a way of finding out what the problem is?
It's a shame this is happening now as up until now I have found this card to be fantastic in every department.
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
It is definately a driver problem as older drivers do not suffer from this issue.
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
Not sure if my problem is exactly the same as the one you guys have described...but seems somewhat similar.
My prelude has been working great for the past year or so. I just upgraded my computer components a couple of weeks ago to an Intel i7 920 rig (EVGA X58 SLI LE) and installed Windows 7 RTM Ultimate 64_bit. Everything seems to be working OK so far except one problem.
I get weird artifacting/static/choppiness in some of the surround sound effects when using CMSS-3D and headphones.
I noticed some of the weird choppiness/static while play some games and then when playing around in the driver I did the 'fly-by' test. This is the test where you can hear a helicopter fly around your head. It seems to work ok, but about 2-3 times as the helicopter flies around my head I get choppy audio. The audio cuts in and out and even has some weird sounds (The chopper audio cuts in and out and there is also some weird sound artifacts that I hear as well).
Any help or ideas on this problem? I have tried uninstalling and re-installing the drivers a couple of times. Never had the problem in Vista x64...
Can anyone else try the flyby test with CMSS3D enabled and see if they have any weird problems?
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
I have the same issue, about once a day using the optical output (44.1kHz PCM) the sound will turn into a bunch of extremely loud pops and crackles, followed by silence or constant "garbage" audio that necessitate a restart sometimes, and other times I have to play around enabling and disabling sound devices in control panel to fix.
I was using Windows 7 for several months using an older X-Fi driver modified to work on W7 and had zero issues and no crashes, these problems only occur with the latest Auzentech drivers.
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
Same issue here... Vista works perfect with bothx86/x64. Windows 7 pops with both x86/x64.
I always check this issue opening a video from youtube.
I think it's a driver issue, and it's related to pci latency.
Check this link:
http://www.thesycon.de/deu/latency_check.shtml
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
Confirmed. I have ran this and skipped through a video and saw the latency bars go into red and hit 23,000 nanoseconds! Definately a driver issue.
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
Well the problem seems to have got worse for me :(. The computer freezes totally with a repeated very loud random crackling/popping noise. The only way out is to press the reset button. The computer also often restarts itself without warning. This was happening every 30 to 60 minutes or so, sometimes when using internet explorer, sometimes when playing games, even sometimes when I was afk and the computer was just sat at the desktop.
I've now taken my prelude card out of the computer and uninstalled everything related to Ausentech/Creative and activated the motherboard built in sound.... I've not experienced a single crash or sound problem since (3 days now).
I'm currently using Windows 7 Enterprise build 7600 and will be installing the full version of Windows 7 when it arrives next week.
Can anyone from Ausentech confirm whether or not this problem is known about and also if a solution is being looked into at all?
Thanks.
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
I would like to know this answer too. The last time I contacted Auzentech about this issue, they said they weren't able to reproduce it. Switching the card to a different PCI slot helped somewhat where I don't have to reboot daily, but the sound popping eventually comes back after ~3 days. This is a dealbreaker for me, I may have to look into selling my card and finding a non-X-fi sound card.
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
Thanks for the question.
Some pop/crackle issues have been fixed over time. The remaining ones reported here were ones that our developers were unable to reproduce. Plus, Support Tickets reports trailed off. So the evidence for the problem seemed slim.
Now that we have this forum thread, we have all sorts of additional evidence that we are feeding to the developers and we are applying some pressure to see if we can get resolution.
Thank you for reporting these problems. Anyone else seeing the same symptoms should join in.

Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
I am running the X-Fi Prelude in Windows 7 with Logitech Z-5500. I have the sound issue of sound-loss and popping as well. While I am playing winamp, the music will randomly have a few seconds of loss of sound and the come back again. I also hear some crackling sounds now and then. This was never present when I ran XP. Another big problem I had was getting the Logitech Z-5500 to work in 5.1 surround sound as it took a lot of "enabling and disabling" in the Auzentech control panel to enable the 5.1 effect. My Logitech control unit has lost the "music mode" and also I have a hollow sound when I play my mp3's (around 320kpbs/flac). I really hope a fix will come out for this soon as I'm sure everyone with this card, paired with decent speakers really miss the sound quality before these problems occured.
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
ive been getting similar problems, usually happens when multiple software programs ask for direct access to the sound drivers. like games and windows media player. teamspeak and vent do not cause issues when you use then in wave mapper mode. anyway below are my specs
amd phen 2 940
dfi lanparty dk 790fxb-m2rsh
8gb ram ocz
2x 4870x2's
1kw psu
500gb hdd
1tb hdd
160gb hdd
physx card
prelude (of course)
theres a huge thread i found about x-fi chips on the creative forums, apparantly it sometimes happens when other devices use the same irq as the x-fi cards, and changing slots on the motherboard assigns new irqs to the cards. i hope this helps people a little.
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
Hi There,
I have owned my Prelude X-Fi for quite some time now and I still have an annoying problem.
When I first got the card, I was using Windows XP and a set of Logitech Z5500. I was using an optical connection/spdif only to find that the sound would totally cut out requiring a full restart of my computer to get the audio back.
As you could imagine, this was frustrating and annoying as it could happen at any time, maybe 5 minutes, maybe 60 minutes.
Anyways, you guys brought out a new driver stating you fixed the "DDL sometimes stops", but all it seems to do is restart the card so I dont have to restart my computer.
Thats fine, but when you do that, my audio/sounds are lost/distorted for around 1-5 seconds and basically makes listening to music or playing games very crap and frustrating.
Ive just updated to Windows 7 thinking perhaps you have fixed it, but its still the same old same old.
Can you please fix it once and for all, PROPERLY.
I am sick and frustrated of my sound dropping out via a optical connection. I can understand if the product was brand new and was being work on, but its been nearly two years.
Please look into it, I honestly doubt that this problem cannot be replicated, please spend some time on it and fix it.
Not sure what else I can ask for to be honest. Other than this problem, I'm happy with the card, but really, this is a major problem I find with the card.

Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
Is Auzentech working on this issue?
I've purchased a copy of 7 and can't install it because of my sound card bad behavior.
And i'm talking about a 200€ soundcard... >_<
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
I too am now suffering this popping on the digital output of my Prelude.
I've just rebuilt (using Win7 64-bit Full release) moving from XP 32-bit.
This problem started with my new clean installation, to a new HDD (so no legacy stuff!) and sounds just like 'a reconnection' between an amp and speakers, only it happens whenever an action occurs - be that a mouse 'selection' of something to do/switch to or a keyboard-caused 'event' - on the PC. {like when I click on 'Save' here.
At first, I kept losing audio because of the fight between my MoBo's HD audio system and the Auzentech (but solved that with an uninstall of the RealTek system). However, as this audio issue is really bugging me (I need to use audio for my professional service!) I may have to reverse the choice now and ditch the Prelude instead. What a shame, and a waste of a £150 soundcard. Let's see if Lynx can do better with their Lynx One.
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
Lynx One was nice but does not support 64-bit or Win7. It's a different kind of card -- more oriented toward audio creation. Like the Infrasonic Quartet:
http://www.auzentech.com/site/products/infra_quartet.php
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
I've finally discovered how to solve this... by unplugging my Prelude and turning on the onboard sound. So it's not related to other hardware/software... i'll wait for the next driver release to check if it's been fixed.
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
Same problem here. Been running my prelude for nearly two years now, in four different motherboards and a plethora of other hardware with no issues under Windows XP/XP64.
Upgraded to Windows 7 and hasn't been very happy ever since...
Using the analog outputs with a set of Logitech Z-5500 I would get episodes of really loud distortion (crackling/scratching noise). This seemed to happen more often when Pidgin was running, however it would also happen in games/films/playing music.
After changing to an Onkyo HTX-22HD and both using DTS interactive (for films/games) to output the 5.1 through optical (shame Auzentech never released the HDMI daughter board for the Prelude) or straight stereo (for music) the audio will stutter then drop completely, then resume after a few seconds. It happens intermittently, but really often (sometimes twice in the same song).
In four weeks I only had two BSODs due to the sound card tho (incidentally the only two BSODs I've seen in Windows 7). Generally the computer and the audio stream recover by themselves from the problem.
I'm using Win7 x64 RTM, fresh installation.
I'd rather see this issue fixed than upgrading the hardware, but if the next release is delayed much further or doesn't fix it, will have to move on. Doing research on the Asus Xonar 1.3 and the Auzentech X-Fi HomeTheater HD at the moment (HDMI output would be a nice bonus).
Oh, for the record, removing the OC and leaving everything @ stock doesn't make the problem go away.

Time for my twice daily reboot D:<
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
For everyone having issues, you should try changing PCI Latency settings in your computer's Bios if it has that setting. On my Gigabyte board it defaults at 32 which will cause me a lot of headaches. I had to push mine to 128 to solve most issues. I run Vista 7 64bit and get periodic wierd scrambled noises then no sound for 2 or 3 seconds while it resets itself, but other than that the sound runs fine for me.
On a Gigabyte motherboard the pci latency settings are hidden, at least on the boards I have seen lately. I believe the keypress to show hidden settings is CTRL + F1.
There are definitely driver issues going on. Performance in the games I play degrades over time until I get the wierd scambled noises and the card then resets. Also while playing online games, playing in DTS or DDL causes wierd lag that puts me at a disavantage which gets worse over time. Ventrilo causes me a nightmare to lose all sounds eventually and not even be able to connect to the server without a reboot (that was on Vista 32bit drivers). I think there are multiple issues going on including some form of memory leak.
So try changing the PCI latency in your bios to see. I know it stopped cracking and popping for me. Its a known XI-FI chipset issues for years.
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
I'm also having this problem. The sound cuts out randomly with some pops and loud static. The sound card is then unresponsive for a few seconds, and then comes back up as normal. It happens for my both in Digital (optical) and in Analogue.
Would love for a fix to be released for this, I don't like spending a lot of money of a piece of equipment that doesn't work as it was advertised.
Re: Auzentech response???????
This is to the tech support/staff @ Auzentech.
As you can see, there are endless amounts of people who are not satisfied with their high-end soundcards. This forum is here for us to state the bugs and hope for you guys to find a fix for our investment. Can you guys please reply and let us know what's going on? Nobody is blaming you guys since after Windows 7 update, the software encoding has caused issues for a few big soundcard manufacturers. Since you guys get the drivers from Creative, I guess we have to wait until they come out with new ones. However, please give us the courtesy in at least updating us. Let us know if they problem is being worked on otherwise, we feel like we're talking to the wind and nothing will come out of posting on this forum. Are you guys not having results from replicating our problems? How are you guys replicating it? Please tell me you guys don't just do some simple stuff and if it sounds okay, the problem is ignored.... because this is a serious problem and for a soundcard not to have sound working properly, it's pretty much like a car that can't won't start. I am frustrated like everyone else because we have spent good money on these cards and now after MAJOR PROBLEMS occurring, there is no response from your end. At least give us some reassurance.
Thanks
Re: Auzentech response???????
Ah, and here i thought i was alone :D, glad to know others are getting the issues,
The Latest XFI driver on the creative site is newer than the one in the auzentech beta driver kit.
I'd prefer to wait on auzentech to prepare a driver though,

Re: Auzentech response???????
Yes, developers are still exploring the issue. If you have not done so already, anyone with this problem should...
- check the latency in their BIOS (as described above)
- make certain the motherboard BIOS is up to date
- see the entries for "popping" on the FAQ page in the Prelude section ( http://www.auzentech.com/site/support/FAQ.php#xfiprelude ). Search for "popping" in your browser to find the entries.
Thanks for the feedback and constructive criticism.
Re: Auzentech response???????
it isn't PCI latency that is the problem, besides, many of us don't even have pci latency settings, and the PCI Latency tool for x64 doesn't work on windows 7 even if you override driver signing (Freezes system on run). Second, those of us buying top rate hardware like the prelude are going to be already running the latest bios and software as top rate hardware is the choice of Tech Guru's and specialists.
It has already been stated these problems do not occur on an older driver, which proves further that it is not pci latency, as Drivers cannot, do not, and never will fix or cause pci latency type crackling, This type of crackling is entirely hardware config bound and does not magically appear from one driver, and disappear with another. Believe me, i've been with Creative since the SB16, and i know exactly what the limitations of drivers are.
I've sat here with DPC Checker for hours and the only time i've seen it spike is when a sound or music is playing, even further verifying it is a driver issue.
a suggestion to the techs is to apply about 3-4GB's of memory load on the system and try then, as I believe there might be a connection there.....
Re: Auzentech response???????
I think I've fixed my random crackling problems... I use analog 7.1 output and Windows 7 x64. I disabled everything in the Windows Sound properties except "Speakers" - ie. I set SPDIF Out to 'Disabled'.
Since doing that I have not had any issues whatsoever thus far! (after about a week of use)
Re: Auzentech response???????
I'm using this method, and so far I haven't had any problems. I would much rather use Optical out rather than Analogue, however if this fixes the problem I'm happy to use it till there is a fix for the problem.
Re: Auzentech response???????
I had the sound loss, (1/2-1 second, 3-6 times per MP3 track) but no crackling/popping. Win 7 Ultimate x32, optical out to Denon receiver.
I have found a solution for my case. My power setting was on "power saver". I switched it to "Balanced" and in 2 days of music I've only heard one break. %99 improvement. I'm freaking elated!
I can't vouch for games or movies yet, but music/vids seem to be fine now.

Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
Auzentech team, this error best corresponds for me with pausing music in foobar2000. Obviously not an issue with foobar, and it is quite possible you could press pause and play for 6 hours straight without anything happening, but I would say I have needed to reboot many, many times after having paused.
Whether the crackling starts before or after I press play (no sound) is sort of random. Maybe I have heard cracks and pops more often after play, but they don't stop even if I close all music programs.
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
hey guys, keep an eye on your audiodg.exe process when this happens, if a process spike occursin this then it might be the reason for the audio loss / popping.
Either way, it still means its a driver issue.
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
I have had problems with the prelude beta1 drivers ever since I installed Win 7 x64 Home Premium. I had the win 7 beta before and used the old vista drivers with a modded console launcher to give me back all the functionality that you usually get with X-Fi and had no issues. But now the constant popping and crackling every time I use my scroll wheel drives me nuts and the sound dropping out entirely is by far the worst part. So far switching modes and relaunching whatever application I was playing sound on works but that's far from ideal. What I yhave tried and found limited success with is having the Beta1 driver suite installed, reboot, download the last vista driver before this, I believe its the 1.1 driver, unzip, go to audio/drivers/ and run setup, this will install the old drivers over the current suite keeping functionality and for me, greatly reducing said crackling, I still occasionally get a wall of static followed by a complete loss of sound- but like I said, switching modes worked for me. I would hope they would get off their butts and put out new drivers but I have come to expect much less from auzentech, and I will eventually solve this dillema by going back to creative for all my X-Fi needs and would recomend anyone else who can to just ditch the prelude altogether and get a comparable X-Fi card (say...the Xtreme Gamer) for under 80 dollars or there-abouts. Hope this helps anyone else out there...
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
Creative card owners are reporting the same types of problems. Creative (the company) owns the chipset so they control the core of the drivers, from what I've read.
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
im going to hax the Prelude 1.1 drivers into the Beta version, and see if it stops the issue.
others should try this too. its as simple as just replacing the Drivers folder in the beta1 kit with the one from 1.1 and installing the full auzentech suite.
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
This issue is affecting me as well. Windows 7 has been on store shelves for a month now, Auzentech needs to address this. I paid a premium price for what was supposed to be a premium sound card, only to have this obnoxious crap happening. FIX IT!
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
I had this problem too but I fixed it by going into widows media player and turning all the sound enhancements off, like equalizer and stuff or just put everything back to default. That maybe why not everyone has the problem or can't reproduce the problem because they don't use or either they don't mess with options in widows media player.
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
"If the issue occurred in Windows XP & 7 in several systems, we are expecting that it would be the hardware issue. The DDL/DTS cut issue has not been reported, and we are sorry to inform you that the driver will not fix the issue if you already installed the latest version."
Above is an email I received.
Sorry, but it's not my computer that is the issue, its your sound card or software that is the problem.
Ever since I had this card, with Win XP, the sound would drop out and never return, requiring the pc to be restarted. (Via Optical)
You fixed it with "RC-6 - The DDL stop issue fixed" so that I do not need to restart my pc, but it seems to restart the drivers or card, and I loose my sound/get cracking/distortion for a few seconds and its all perfect again (Using Z5500).
This is very frustrating. Was watching a DVD last night using VLC and it did it 4 times during the movie.
I know there's only so much you guys can do (being a creative chip) but at least acknowledge that this is an issue, and stop thinking its "your computer, ram, motherboard".
I'm honestly otherwise very happy with the card, just this really really frustrates me :( sigh.....
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
You can add one more customer to this case ...
No problems in XP and Vista 64bit ... the problems started after a fresh install (after HD format) of Windows 7 Enterprise x64 RTM. I use optical out (also tried coaxial out) to a Creative Inspire 5.1 Digital 5700 Sound decoder. I use the DTS or Dolby Digital encoder to send everything encoded to my external decoder.
When listening to music or playing a movie, I lose the DD or DTS link every few seconds. I have to restart the external decoder then to get the link back. I watched an episode of House MD yesterday with VLC player and had to do this 64 times in 45 minutes ... no need to say more I think.
This obviously is a driver issue.

Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
Auzentech... what's going on with the solution? Every now and then I get garbled up mp3 songs... whole pile of crap. Random popping and stuttering throughout my songs. Other times it will be fine. I'm a software programmer and not to sound arrogant, but don't tell me it's my computer software conflicting or OS configuration, it's 100% driver issue here. Tell us, have you replicated the problem?? There is no way in hell you can't replicate this if almost everyone is getting these problems on a frequent basis. What's being done right now?? I'm so close to pulling the card and going with another manufacturer like HT Omega. This really sucks for those of us who forked out good money for your cards. Please have the decency to update us.
Thanks.

Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
I've just become sick enough of the issues with my prelude+win7 to actually make an account!
I get the problems such as:
* popping
* HORRIBLE loud screeching. Maybe once a day?
* Sometimes when I pause a song in WMP for a period of time, it seems to trigger the screeching eventually and then the song refuses to play until I close down WMP.
* This happened on my older PC as well (with Win7). Asus P5N32-E SLI Plus with Q6600 + 4GB DDR2.
My specs:
Intel i5 750
8GB DDR3
Gigabyte P55-UD3 (with onboard audio disabled)
Win7 Ultimate x64
ATI 5850 1GB
I'd also love to hear some responses from Auzentech on how their progress is going in getting a non-beta driver release which actually solves these issues :) (as long as they are able to reproduce them ...)
ps.
- I couldn't find any PCI latency options in my BIOS (even after the Ctrl+f1 for advanced mode)
- My BIOS is up to date (version F5)
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
I have tried this card in 2 systems i have(they are not overclocked)
i7 920
p6t deluxe
6gb gskill ddr3 1600
4870-512mb Crossfire
w7 ultimate x64
creative xfi gamer
4x seagate 500gb raid 0
phemon II 940
m4a79 deluxe
8gb gskill ddr2 800
4870x2 2b
4 wd 1tb in raid 10
w7 ultimate x64
prelude xfi
both computers have the same problem when this card is in either one... i have had formated both and tested this card only from one to the other and was able to reproduce.. maybe i should make a video for you guys so you can see exactly what it does.
if i'm browsing the net and clicking links or playing flash games, IT WILL pop and hiss the ddl/dts light goes out, and comes back after a few seconds, then its fine.
some times when it comes back all the channels are flipped... to solve this i just change the audio mode from gaming to entertainment, then back again..
every now and then when watching a movie will will pop/squeal.. no audio, then come back a few seconds later...
Everytime it has done this my ddl/dts light on my amp turns off and reports no input.. but comes back on a few seconds later. and is usually fine unless the channels are flipped around.
have determind that after using both analog(headset mic + 5.1) and ddl/dts that its a problem the ddl/dts content encoder software... no other way to put it
never had this problem with xp. the only problem with vista was when the computer would goto sleep. when i would wake it up, the channels would be flipped around. same there all i had to do was change the audio mode to ent, then back to gamer and it was fine.
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
Yes to the video, if you are willing. The more evidence out in the public the better.

Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
All I want for Christmas is no more sound loss.
Re: Windows 7 Sound Loss & Popping
So where exactly are we at?
Playing L4D again few nights ago and the sound disappeared/cut out/distored for a few seconds (z5500 shows no signal), then came back.
If you want video evidence, I will set my camera up to record it, may happen within 5 minutes or after 1 hour, hope my memory card is long enough.
